High quality polyethylene plastic welding rod, for the extrusion welding process in the installation of geomembranes. It allows the efficient fusion of the sheets, by adding a sealing mass composed of homogeneous material to that of the geomembrane, ensuring a perfect bond in the overlaps of the joined sheets.
Our Welding Rod is a cylindrical polyethylene (PE) profile, configured similar to a bead and is perfectly compatible for use in automatic geomembrane extrusion welding machines. It is ideal for welding Coverfilm HDPE and LLDPE geomembranes, composed of polyethylene and high or low density additives, guaranteeing exceptional compatibility with geomembranes.
Versatile applications
Coverfilm Welding Wire is mainly used with portable extruders to weld geomembranes, applying it to the overlap of the two sheets at an optimal temperature for fusion. This procedure is essential in areas where automatic double welding machines are not viable, as well as for repairs and in cases of joints with polyethylene profiles.
Welding Extrusion Process
